Automotive Paint Codes (we only sell in 12 ounce increments)
*** NOTE: 1 - 24oz bottle of RAPTOR requires 3 ounces of TINT. 1 gallon Tintable Kit requires 12 ounces of tint.
Use this selection to order tint if you would like us to mix a colour other than the ones we currently offer. If you are matching a paint code from a vehicle, you can enter it into the field when ordering. Please indicate the actual color, for example blue or yellow. We cannot guarantee 100% colour match. We can mix the computerized formula from the code which should make it very close to your desired colour.
*** When mixing 10% colour tint into a 24oz bottle of Raptor, color matching will never be exact due to the volume of Raptor and it's ability to saturate the tintable Raptor. Most of the time, the color should be very close.
Metallics and Pearls may be in your automotive paint code. Raptor Liner's thickness consumes the Metallic/Pearl that is in the mix, causing the desired effect to be subsided considerably. They will not show up like a traditional base coat/clear coat.
When it comes to tinting Raptor, reds and blues are the hardest to color match. We recommend shooting a small test area on cardboard to make sure the tinted Raptor Liner is acceptable when being applied. Once again, we do not guarantee the color match but will mix your provided code accordingly.***
